The Burr-Brown REF102 is a buried-zener-based precision 10V reference. It has better stability and about five times lower output noise than band-gap-based voltage references such as the PMI REF-10. Still, its output noise is about 600uVp-p at a noise bandwidth of 1MHz (the output noise of the PMI REF-10 is about 3,000uVp-p at 1MHz).

The ACF2101 is a dual, switched integrator that is typically used to convert a positive input current to a negative output voltage by integration, using an integration capacitor (CINT), either on the chip or an external capacitor provided by the user. Two of the most important specifications for a voltage reference are noise and stability with time. The zener-based REF102 10.0V voltage reference has much better noise and stability than band-gap-based references.

Many systems require the combination of both a positive and a negative precision 10.0V reference. ADI offers several hybrid В±10V references. Although Burr-Brown offers no В±10V reference at this time, we do have some simple two-chip solutions which are accurate and can be more cost effective.
