The Broadcom® HCPL-181 contains a light-emitting diode Current transfer ratio optically coupled to a phototransistor. It is packaged in a (CTR: minimum 50% at IF = 5 mA, VCE = 5V) 4-pin mini-flat SMD package with a 2.0-mm profile. The High input-output isolation voltage small dimension of this product allows significant space (V saving. The package volume is 30% smaller than that of iso = 3750 Vrms) conventional DIP type. Input-output isolation voltage is High collector-emitter voltage (VCEO = 80V) 3750 Vrms. Response time, tr, is typically 4 µs and minimum Response time CTR is 50% at input current of 5 mA. (tr: typical, 4 µs at VCE = 2V, IC = 2 mA, RL = 100Ω)
