This controller is ideal for LED Driver power supplies G = Pb−Free Package with power requirements between 40 W and 150 W. The single stage is based on the flyback converter and it is designed to operate in continuous conduction (CCM). The NCL30001 can be configured as as constant current driver or a PIN CONNECTIONS fixed output driver for two stage LED lighting applications. In addition, the controller features a proprietary Soft−Skip to reduce CT 1 16 Startup acoustic noise at light loads. Other features found in the NCL30001 Ramp Comp 2 15 GND include a high voltage startup circuit, voltage feedforward, brown out detector, internal overload timer, latch input and a high accuracy AC IN 3 14 NC multiplier. The multi−function latch off pin can also be used to FB 4 13 DRV implement an overtemperature shutdown circuit.
